The legend is true. The City of Chicago and U.S. Soccer arranged a deal where the first match of the 1994 World Cup would be hosted at Soldier Field and USSF would move to Chicago and occupy two South Loop buildings that would later become affectionately and unofficially referred to as ‘Soccer House.’ Naturally there is no better way to start our viewing series than with this one.
