Soccer House Opens April 18th
When we announced Soccer House was coming to West Town in December, we said we’d be opening in Spring of 2026. This past Friday was the first day of Spring and Saturday sure felt like it (after that, not so much). Now that it’s officially spring, we can finally give you the news you've been waiting for. Soccer House opens on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.

From Hard Hats to First Whistle
It's been a journey to get here. We tore out old fixtures, had a burst pipe during one of the coldest weeks of the year, scrubbed kitchen equipment until it shined, put in completely new draft lines, painted the walls inside, had our friend Mosher put a giant mural on the wall outside, cleaned again, put up huge new TVs with a sound system to accompany them, got our espresso machine cranking, cleaned some more, carried the new beer garden tables up to the roof, framed some great soccer art, and much, much, much more.
We’re still putting the finishing touches on everything, including a few items the City wants us to add from our inspections, but we’re on track to open in just under a month.
What to Expect on Opening Weekend
Simply put, fantastic and full days of soccer. Opening day means doors open early and the soccer starts immediately. We’ll kick it off early to give some work to our baristas and espresso machine. There are a bunch of terrific matches through the middle of the day, including a trophy on the line with the Copa Del Rey final! In the evening, we turn our attention to the Fire who visit Cincinnati and some great Liga MX matchups.
On Sunday we’ll do it all again!
We’ll publish the full schedule a bit closer to matchday so you know exactly what we’ll be showing and if we’ll be all up on the rooftop or not. It is April in Chicago after all, the weather could be anything.
A Home, Not Just a Bar
From the very beginning, we set out to build something more than just a place that shows soccer on TV. Soccer House is a clubhouse for the Chicago soccer community and we’ll be proving it from day one with morning matches from across the pond, a trophy on the line, one of our hometown teams, and some late night LigaMX.
We'll be announcing some open house and preview events in the weeks ahead, so if you haven't joined the email list yet, now is the time. That will be the first place to see the precise opening weekend match schedule, too.
