What an Incredible Opening Weekend!
We still can't quite believe it. Opening weekend at Soccer House was everything we hoped it would be and then some. The energy in this place was electric (the atmosphere for Arsenal vs. Man City? Truly unreal) and we’re all still buzzing. From the Premier League to Liga MX, MLS, the Argentine Superclásico, Serie A, Ligue 1, and more, Soccer House felt exactly like the ultimate soccer clubhouse we always dreamed of building.
Hosting the Chicago Fire match alongside the Red Line Supporters Group was a special moment. Even though it felt like the Fire left some points behind in Cincy, it was a perfect start to what we know will be a great partnership. We're proud to be the home for every Fire and Stars match and we’re going to keep building!
We also did a bit of learning. Despite thinking we'd ordered plenty, we ran out of a few beers. We knew Guinness and Modelo would be popular, we didn’t expect to run out of the great Argentine lager Quilmes. As they say, that is a “good problem to have.” We’re ordering even more! We're also continuing to fine-tune our service so every visit really feels like you’re coming to your soccer home. Apologies to anyone who couldn’t get in when we were slammed and at capacity during the big matches. Your patience while we find our rhythm means a lot.
