Cups, Derbies, and the Rooftop

This week is jam packed with meaningful matches all week. But before we get to the schedule, two announcements… 

The Rooftop is open! Though to be totally clear, this run of rainy (and threatened rainy) weather continues to impact our ability to get the big screen up there, so no big screen yet, but if you want a nice meal and a drink when the weather is fair, the rooftop is available.

We will soon be rolling out reservations on OpenTable! More details to come, but subscribe to the mailing list to get notified about reservations for some of the biggest upcoming matches, including the World Cup.

This Week

We’ll break it into two buckets of must-see matches for this week, the first are great Cup competitions midweek, the second a pair of historic Derbies across two continents. As always, full match schedule is available at soccerhouse.com/schedule  

One final scheduling note… as this was written, the Liga MX Liguilla schedule isn’t yet available. The matchups for the first round of the playoffs are fantastic, so as soon as the times are confirmed we’ll add them to the schedule. 

Midweek Highlights

PSG vs Bayern Munich | Champion’s League Semi-Final 1st Leg | Tuesday, April 28 | 2:00 PM

The biggest match of the midweek slate pits two European giants against each other in Paris. Regardless of who wins this tie, this side of the bracket seems likely to produce the favorite in the final.

Atlético Madrid vs Arsenal | Champion’s League Semi-Final 1st Leg | Wednesday, April 29 | 2:00 PM

Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid host Mikel Arteta's Arsenal with the chance for both clubs to take home their first ever Champions League title feeling tantalizingly close.  

Chicago Fire vs St. Louis City | U.S. Open Cup | Wednesday, April 29 | 7:00 PM

The round of 16 comes to Bridgeview. If you can’t make it out there, we’ll welcome you in to watch the Fire take one step closer to their fifth Open Cup title.
