This is Soccer House.

For over 30 years, the U.S. Soccer Federation called a pair of old mansions at 18th & Prairie home. It was known as ‘Soccer House’ and these homes-turned-offices were the American HQ for the world’s game. But since U.S. Soccer has packed up for Atlanta (boo!) and sold off the former Soccer House, Chicago’s ready for a new chapter.

Our new Soccer House is coming in early 2026 and this one is for the fans.

Reinventing an Icon

Our home at 501 N. Ogden Avenue in Chicago’s West Town has its own legendary past — three decades of bikers, whiskey, burgers, and the rotating skeleton that kept watch over the corner of Grand & Ogden. Not exactly an easy act to follow! We’re eager to pay homage to that history in many ways, but don’t expect anything on the screen but soccer with your eggs.

When we open, you’ll find the bar has been upgraded with bigger, brighter TVs and the back room transformed into a comfortable spot for early kickoffs on midweek cup ties. Each will have dedicated audio, so you’ll hear all the chants, cheers, and commentary.

And that rooftop? We’re fixing it up and turning it into the ultimate soccer beer garden.

A Menu for Every Match

The global game demands a matchday-inspired menu from around the world. We’ll serve what you’d be eating (and drinking) while at the match from London to Buenos Aires and everywhere in between.

But it’s not just what you eat and drink, it’s when. Morning, noon, or night, we’ve got you covered.

We’ll get you through the first half of those 6:00 am kickoffs with breakfast, coffee, espresso, and everything else you’d expect from a great café. Then at 7:00 am (9:00 on Sunday!) when the city says the pints can start flowing, you can celebrate each goal however you’d like.

More Than Just Matchday

Yes, we’ll have the biggest matches from every league, every week. But Soccer House will also be a year-round hub for the game. If it celebrates soccer and the people who love it, it will be happening here.

Soccer is about connection as much as competition, so expect the calendar to fill with events to bring our soccer community together — live podcasts, Panini World Cup sticker exchanges, EAFC tournaments, tifo painting, and more.

We’ll also be stocking a shop built like the game itself — unpredictable, global, and always evolving. An ever-changing mix of gear: new, vintage, supporter-made, or whatever else feels right in the moment.
